Irwin is the principal of BLA Schwartz, managing the Boston, Westwood (MA), New York, and Los Angeles offices. Irwin began his career in 1986 with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City, after which he was a resident in Skadden's San Francisco and Boston offices. In 1994, he started his own litigation boutique firm in Boston, which opened offices in New York City in 2006, and Westwood (MA) and Los Angeles in 2007. Irwin continues his practice in Massachusetts, California and New York, with a principal focus on technology and corporate litigation and arbitration. Irwin resides with his wife and two kids.
